How credits work

Credits meter the model usage behind Henry's work, so light use stays cheap and heavy use stays predictable.

Quick questions are usually free

Turns that cost less than 5¢ of model usage aren't charged at all. Most lookups and short answers fall under that line.

Credits track real work

Pricing is usage-based at $2.00 per 1,000 credits, the same rate at every plan size; you're just picking how big a bucket. A quick lookup runs a few dozen credits; drafting a doc, digging through history, or a multi-step task across your tools runs a few hundred.

Deep work is capped, never runaway

Every request has a hard ceiling by depth: 6,400 credits for quick, 24,000 for standard, 40,000 for deep research. A single task can't drain your balance.

Metered, not per-seat

Unlimited teammates on every plan. You pay for work Henry actually does, and model tiering plus caching keep routine work on the cheap end of the meter.

Top up anytime

One-time top-up credits never expire and stack on top of your plan. Auto top-ups can refill the balance when it runs low, with a monthly spend limit you control.

Unused credits roll over

Whatever's left of your monthly credits rolls into the next period (spent first, once). Reward credits from referrals never expire.

Do I need a card to start?
Yes: starting the 7-day free trial takes a card, but nothing is charged until the trial ends and you can cancel anytime. The trial includes 8,000 credits, and anything left keeps working after you upgrade. Trial credits never expire.
Is pricing per seat?
No. The plan covers your whole workspace. Everyone on the team shares one credit balance, and admins control who can use Henry.
What does a credit actually buy?
A quick question is usually free (under the 5¢ line). A typical assisted turn, like drafting, searching your tools, or summarizing, runs a few dozen to a few hundred credits. A heavy scheduled run tops out at the per-request ceilings (6,400–40,000 credits by depth).
What happens when we run out of credits?
Henry lets you know and pauses paid work until your next monthly grant, or an admin can top up or upgrade in a click from Settings → Billing & credits, and auto top-ups can handle it without anyone noticing.
Do unused credits roll over?
Unused monthly credits roll over for one extra billing period. Purchased top-up credits never expire.
Are there rate limits?
Yes, to keep the service fast for everyone: 150–600 requests per 5-hour window depending on your plan (50 during the trial).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the billing page and your plan runs through the end of the paid period. You can also disconnect Henry from your workspace entirely, and we delete workspace data on request.
